On May 18, H.E. Kong Xianhua, Ambassador of China to the Maldives, met with Managing Founder Azima Shakoor of Policy MV.

Ambassador Kong stated China and the Maldives enjoy profound traditional friendship and people-to-people exchanges serve as a vital bond of bilateral relations. China stands ready to work with the Maldives to boost exchanges and dialogue between the youth and women of both countries, deepen experience sharing in youth education and protection of women's rights, build consensus on think-tank platforms and further enhance people-to-people exchanges.

Azima noted that the Policy MV attaches great importance to cooperation with China and will give full play to its policy advisory role, build communication channels for youth and women and contribute think-tank wisdom to advancing Maldives-China friendship.
